Our goal is to attract top-tier leisure, business, and medical tourists while simultaneously enriching the local community and bolstering the economy.
Our groundbreaking proposal is in perfect harmony with the objectives of the neighboring Special Protection Area, a vital component of the NATURA 2000 network. We are committed to setting new benchmarks for environmentally responsible developments by taking deliberate steps to minimize our impact. These steps include reducing the number of potential visitors to the protected area, maximizing open spaces, positioning buildings away from the protected zone, and integrating cutting-edge eco-friendly technologies.
A pivotal element of our concept revolves around creating and managing a 350-meter long artificial habitat along the coast under the strict supervision of governmental authorities. This habitat will replace the natural environment that has suffered damage in recent years, enhancing the habitat of protected species, reducing disturbances, and lessening the overall environmental footprint.
The region is in dire need of transformation within the tourism industry, including upgrades, enrichments, and diversification of tourism products and infrastructure. With meticulous planning, the Sotira coastline, in conjunction with the nearby Ayia Napa Marina and Potamos Liopetriou National Park, presents an unparalleled opportunity to achieve this goal and enhance the entire region`s image.
Our world-class hotel, managed by a major international chain, will play a significant role in realizing this vision. Additionally, our high-end hospital will be the island`s first medical facility specifically designed for medical tourism.
With approximately 450 year-round job opportunities, our project aims to mitigate the effects of seasonal employment that have long plagued the local labor market. Many of these positions will be for highly skilled individuals, addressing a scarcity in the region that currently forces locals to seek employment elsewhere.
Last but not least, we are dedicating approximately 20,400 square meters of land to the public, either as green areas to be landscaped and given to authorities or as public access parks and parking spaces, all to be landscaped and maintained by us. These initiatives create valuable synergies with the NATURA 2000 management plan and public infrastructure.
